Overview

Producing an animated episode involves many stages, from pre-production and asset design to editing, sound and export. The project tests whether an agent-driven pipeline can carry a script through all of them, with a human approving each key step.

I designed the pipeline in Claude Code, with human approval gates between stages, and integrated generative image, video, speech and music tools through CLI workflows. Cost estimation, batch spend ceilings, job logging and resumable state keep generation under control. Automated QA checks catch clipped dialogue and visual glitches, and normalise loudness.

Key decisions

  • Cost estimation, batch spend ceilings, job logging and resumable state
  • Automated QA checks for clipped dialogue, visual glitches and loudness normalisation

I used the workflow to produce and publish a 70-second pilot episode, Dan & the Dandruffs.

Results

  • Produced and published a 70-second pilot episode
